Cricket Plus is the only 24x7 American cricket channel, dedicated to showing cricket matches and cricket-based programs. The channel broadcasting rights are owned by DirecTV in the United States. Cricket Plus was launched in 2006 as a premium channel for South Asian viewers on DirecTV and a local version debuted in Canada called ATN Cricket Plus, owned by ATN. Cricket Plus broadcasts cricket matches, including the Cricket World Cup, and several cricket-based programs from TEN Sports. Cricket Plus broadcasts a variety of cricket shows that feature a tremendous amount of cricket.
